Earlier this morning Disney Interactive unveiled the next phase of Disney Infinity. Titled Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes the game lets you take control of some of Marvels most prolific superheroes.
So what is new within Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes, turns out a lot of things are new. Avalanche Software took all the fan feedback to make the sequel as great as it could be. So while we do get new characters to play with, we now also new play styles and games.
John Blackburn, VP and General Manager from Avalanche talked about Locomotion for each of the characters. Having characters like Iron Man and Thor who can fly now offers up new game play styles. In fact each of the characters now falls into a set base style of play, such as Brawler, Ranged and so forth. Black Widow is a Melee character, while not as strong as Captain America she is able to move around very fast. Hulk however is very much a Brawler character and is able to cause heaps of damage.
Perhaps the most critical piece of information is that all of your toys, power discs, toybox levels and even the game base from Disney Infinity will work with Disney Infinity 2.0 Yep all those worlds you have spent so much time working on will now be able to be imported into 2.0 for even more fun.
