23 April 2014, Sydney – Sony Mobile Communications Australia can today confirm the Xperia Z2 Tablet, Sony’s thinnest, lightest, waterproof tablet ever, will be available from Telstra on 29 April. Packing one of the world’s fastest processor in a tablet and Digital Noise Cancelling technology, the Xperia Z2 Tablet is Sony’s best ever entertainment experience.

Andy Volard, Director of Device Management at Telstra, said he was excited about offering Telstra customers a tablet from Sony for the first time.

Teamed with our mobile network which offers four times the 4G coverage area of other Australian mobile networks, Sony Xperia Z2 tablet owners will be able to stream HD video and music, load Facebook fast and enjoy rich internet content traditionally reserved for a PC screen,” Mr Volard said.
Telstra customers can purchase the Xperia Z2 Tablet 4G model on a $35 Telstra Tablet Plan, plus $20 per month device repayment when they stay connected for 24 months, which includes 4GB of data ($0.85c/MB) for use in Australia (minimum cost over 24 months is $1,320).
Telstra Business customers can purchase the Xperia Z2 tablet 4G model on a $35 Telstra Mobile Broadband Business Plan plus a plus $25 per month device repayment when they stay connected for 24 months, which includes 4GB of data ($0.85c/MB) for use in Australia (minimum cost over 24 months is $1,320).
Telstra customers can also purchase the Xperia Z2 Tablet 4G model outright from Telstra for $720 RRP.
Xperia Z2 Tablet is available to pre-order from Sony today.
